Hi Doc, I Have A History Of Epididymis Infection And
I have a history of epididymis infection and it has happened again. I am taking the following medicines since last 8 days but the recovery is marginal.
1. Norflox - 400 (Norfloxacin 400 mg) - Norfloxacin & Lactic Acid Bacillus Tablets
- Twice Daily (Morning & Evenign)
2. Disodium Hydrogen Citrate Syrup
- Diluted with water, 2 spoons thrice daily
Please suggest if I must continue with the current medication or change to Ofloxacin or something else. The swelling isn't much but I do experience pain now and then. The pain is bearable not out of control. I am just a little scared. I always feel my stomach swelled or bloated.
Considering what's happening around us (COVID19), I have my reservations to go out and physically see a doctor. Please suggest. Thank you for helping me out and let me know if you have any questions for me.

Based on the facts that you have posted pain in Testicle with previous history of Epididymis is most likely to be due to recurrence of infection and needs to be confirmed by clinical assessment by qualified Urologist and Ultrasound scanning of Scrotum.
There is no harm in going out with due precautions about Corona 19 fear and consult qualified Urologist and get follwing basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and Scrotum.
Taking or switching over to other antibiotic blindly will not help to resolve your problem .
