Orthopedic consultation is required.
Detailed Answer:
hi, I am Dr. Gopal Goel Orthopedic Surgeon.
I have read the details and seen the MRI Report.
In my opinion, her current symptoms are matching with MRI Report.
She should go for an orthopedic consultation since the problem is in the cervical spine.
I normally start painkillers, muscle relaxants, and physiotherapy for all my patients with this presentation. About shoulders again I would like to get MRI to see the involvement of specific muscle/tendon injury. Thalassemia minor is not a major problem if surgery is indicated and required. At this age, Supraspinatus surgery is rarely indicated.
I hope to have answered your question. Please feel free to ask any other question.

Will you be able to refer any good orthopoedic in bangalore?

We have done the cervical spine report again and here is the report attached can you please let me know if this needs a surgery? what is the line of treatment in this case as the pain is raditaing very very strongly in the left hand and the power in the left hand is minimal.
No surgery indicted in cervical spine
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I have seen the reports of MRI both oct and current one.
It shows multiple disc bulges and degenerative changes in the spine .
I would suggest you start mild pain killers , Muscle relaxants , a combination of pregalin and methycobalamine and Physiotherapy. Cervical Collar can be used temporarily.
Mostly the results are satisfactory. Surgery is rarely indicated.
Thanks and again all the best for her recovery.

What kind of physiotherapy we shud give? Pls suggest and pregalin can be taken for how long?
Also the report says hemangioma which i read is a tumor ? Can you please explain the same.
Also pregalin tablet can be taken for how long as i read it is for sezzisures
Pl see below
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Physiotherapy normally I advice is Interferential therapy and Traction - intermittent cervical and lumbar both for you mother.
Hemangioma is generally incidental finding only.
I have patients on pregalin for 4-5 yrs.
Thanks

Also will u recommend tens therapy?
It serves the same purpose
Detailed Answer:
Hi
These medicines serve the same purpose.
Drowsiness is a side effect of medicines and is likely to reduce overtime ,so I suggest you continue with medicines.
Thanx

No treatment required for hemangioma
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Hemangioma is a benign tumor in vertebrae which is a very common finding. It is usually self limiting and does not cause any problem.
Only if it increases rapidly in size or cause pressure symptoms or causes collapse of vertebra - it needs treatment but it is very rare.
In your mothers case since there are other causes which correspond with symptoms- I would advice that you forget about hemangioma.
Thanks
