Hi Doc I Need Your Advice On My Case. Attaching
Question: Hi Doc I need your advice on my case. attaching report of my wife USG suggesting rudimentary horn. This we came to know last week only. is there any concern with IVF ICSI treatment with this condition? medical History - age 37 ( H/W) - IVF ICSI - XXXXXXX 2016, severe OHSS , ICU for 2 weeks, 13 weeks twin pregnancy aborted, no chromosomal issues. - low sperm count of 6mml I would like to get your opinion on this. should we again opt for IVF cycle with rudimentary horn which we were not aware of during last cycle? I am very concerned about the treatment and hormonal therapy that had impacted her body in past. based on new findings of horn - should be opt for surrogacy. thanks in advance. Sandeep.
Brief Answer:
You can go for IVF testing.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting us about your healthcare.
I have gone through your history and understand your concern.
In her report it is showing rudimentary horn it will not affect her pregnancy.
But you can go for surgery as well because sometimes rudimentary horn may cause abortion and premature delivery, it can be assessed by your treating doctor.
For hyperstimulation syndrome, hormonal treatment should be taken properly or either do not use drug for stimulation.
You can go for surrogacy as well.
Hope found useful, feel free to ask more information.
Good luck
Regards
