Brief Answer:
You need to stop metformin after consulting your doctor.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have gone through your query and understand your health concerns.
You are having hypoglycaemia- low levels of blood sugar 4 hours after taking insulin. You need to decrease the doses of insulin or stop taking metformin. Actrapid is a short acting insulin and decreases the blood glucose levels after meals. After starting insulin it takes a few days for the blood glucose levels to settle. You need to consult an endocrinologist and get the proper doses adjusted.
I hope this answers your query.
