Hi Doctor, I Am 34 Years Old. I Have Noticed
I am 34 years old. I have noticed that density of hair on my scalp is reducing.
Previously when I used to do shampoo, I could see 3-4 hair on my hand but, nowadays I can see 8-10 hair in my hand after rubbing shampoo in my hair. Attaching pics of my hair for your reference.
Please let me know what shall I do? There is no history of hair loss in my family which I am aware of.

Ankur
Regarding hair loss
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have reviewed your query and viewed the image.
You seem to have Androgenetic Alopecia, which is mainly characterized by thinning and hair loss from the front, mid and vertex part of the scalp. Together this manifests as reduced density of hair. There is often also accompanying recession of anterior hair line manifesting as a broad forehead. This is the most common type of hair loss in males.
If I was the treating doctor I would suggest you to use Minoxidil 5% solution, 1 ml, twice daily, on scalp. In addition I would suggest you to take oral finasteride 1mg tablet. Using a ketoconazole based shampoo e.g either Scalpe shampoo or Nizoral shampoo, would also benefit.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
Thanks for your reply.
Would you be able to tell the reason of such condition? So, that I can take precautions to avoid those factors along with taking the medicines suggested by you.
Also, any dietary suggestions from your side? Thanks.

Ankur

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
It has an underlying genetic predisposition. This predisposition may or may not be obvious in close family members like father, brother. Even uncles, cousins etc are part of the overall predisposition. The goal of treatment is to start treatment as soon as possible and continue it for as long as possible.
Take care
