Brief Answer:
Molluscum contagiosum

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service..I have gone through your query and viewed the image.

He seems to have lesions of molluscum contagiosum which is viral infection of skin caused by molluscum contagiosum virus (MCV). The lesions commonly present as asymptomatic, pearly white, papules with a central pit( umblication)..They can be either removed with a fine needle by the doctor, if the child allows or else they can be cauterized with a chemical e.g Trichloroacetic acid (TCA)

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.

Hi, I think medicine would be a better option considering my son's age. Can you please tell me which Trichloroacetic Acid should I use? Also, I have 2.8 years old daughter apart from 4.8 years old son. I want to give them Vitamin D medicine. Which Vitamin D medicine would be appropriate for their age? Looking forward to your reply.

Brief Answer:
regarding molluscum contagiosum

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

You cannot apply TCA on your own as it is an acid. You need to visit a dermatologist. He would apply it carefully. As far as Vitamin D is concerned, you can give calcimax-D syp, tsf daily.

Take care
