Opioid and premature ejaculation

Detailed Answer:
Hi....
Welcome to "Ask a Doctor"service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX

I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.

Role of opioids use and withdrawal in sexual dysfunction is unclear, and it may be due to an interaction of many variables, including direct effects of opioid, depression, anxiety and smoking.

Yes....opioids affect sexual function negatively and may be in the form of decreased sex desire, erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation and infertility.

Opioids long-term use leads to fall in levels of sex hormones which is linked with negative sexual impact.

There are limitations which make it difficult to determine whether the symptoms were caused by the opioids or other factors.
Most patients have associated depression and anxiety and most are smokers.

Kindly attend a rehabilitation clinic,
get psychological counselling,
do meditation,
learn relaxation techniques
and belly breathing,
be physically active and
don't over think.
Have nourishing diet including plentiful of vegetables and fruits,
keep hydrated and
get a full night sleep of 8 hours.

Learn anal contraction exercises to prevent premature ejaculation.
You can also practice intermittent withdrawal technique.

Hope that I have answered your query.
If you have any doubts, please let me know.

Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards
