Hi Doctor, I Went To Saloon For Haircut And Shave

Question: Hi Doctor, I went to saloon for haircut and shave today. The boy who is shaving on my face, suddenly cut under my lips... And it was an medium cut with non stop bleeding for 3 minutes Then he apologize me and he put facial powder on the cut to stop bleeding. I checked his hand and no open wound on his fingers. Below is my question.

1. Does this make any HIV risks?
2. Do I need any test?

Please help with your answer.

Welcome back.
Nowadays no saloon is using the same blade to another person. Fresh blade is being used for every individual.
If the blade used for someone else who would be a HIV positive one and that also was done immediately within few minutes for you, then we cannot rule out the risk. Otherwise you don't have any risk for HIV.
