Brief Answer:
Unconcerning...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I assume his pediatrician has checked the head circumference, facial bone / suture defects, muscle spasms and weakness. If there are normal and no abormalities found then minor bit of asymmetry is not a concerning issue. As he grows the muscles would become more active and the asymmetry would change.

It is not uncommon to find babies sleeping with one or both eyes open. It's noticable in one part of the sleep cycle (REM). That should not worry you either.

Hope I am clear. Let me know if you need clarifications

Regards
