Brief Answer:
Urine test and hematology evaluation...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Burning sensation while passing urine suggest possible urinary tract infection. Sometimes patients with BPH are unable to evacuate full bladder and the post void residue are prone to get infected. I will order for an urine routine test and culture to determine the nature of infection and treatment necessary. Your local doctor will know about it.

Hemoglobin of 6.3 is significantly low. He will need hematinic medications and blood transfusions. He should also be evaluated for the cause of anemia. I'd suggest taking an opinion from hematologist.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Hi Doctor XXXXXXX ,

Thanks. So Should we go for Prostate surgery / cystoscopy / laparoscopy ? After an operation whether any problems would come / whether a Prostate would go grow again ?

I hope you have seen attached report in previous thread.

Brief Answer:
Resection through TURP...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I went through the report before answering previous question. The enlarged prostate is causing significant amount of urine obstruction and he will definitely benefit by surgery. The enlarged prostate can be resected endoscopically by a process known as Transurethral resection of prostate (TURP). You can contact an urologist and discuss about it.

The resected prostate will not grow.

Hope this answered all your questions. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Hi Doctor,

Many Thanks. Today We have consulted with one more Doctor and suggested to have "PSA" report.

Please find attached "PSA" report (PSA_report_nov15_2018_Ravindra_Devarkonda.jpg) , Doctor Said that We should remove small part of Prostate and again test with details and if required later need to remove entire Prostate.

Please check and suggest us. Really Imp and crucial for us.

Brief Answer:
The plan is appropriate...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I went through the report. The PSA level is indeed high and the reason for elevated PSA can be determined by the tests suggested by the doctor. In my opinion, you should follow the doctor's plan and get the biopsy done.

Hope it helps. Let me know if you need any more information.
