For my father age of 59 who has diabetes identified at age of 42, can you tell me what constitutes normal ranges fasting and other types of blood sugar levels and blood pressure ranges?
The diagnostic center executive worried us saying the diabetes and blood pressure are abnormally high. Can I ignore his statement then?
Now a days he complains that he lacks energy, forgets things easily and fell off few times on the bed as soon as he woke up in the morning. For this when he visited a doctor, she told that there is a nerve in the brain which is weak that is causing him to fall without doing any test. Do you know what could that be?

Brief Answer:
No sign of diabetes
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
The fasting sugar levels to be less than 125 mg/dl and BP should be less than 150/95 mmHg. HbA1C shows 3moth control over sugar and should be less than 8%.
His BP is not in report. His Sugar levels are normal with good sugar control over last 3 months.
Forgetfullness and lack of energy could be from many reasons. I will suggest that he takes A nerve tonic (vitamins that keep nervous system healthy) like neurobion Forte tab once daily.
Balance issues should be investigated by neurologist. It could be vertigo, side effect of BP medicine (orthostatic hypotension) or could be something related to brain. You can let me know the medicines he is taking. You can also consult a neurologist and get a CT scan of head and neck done.
Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
