Question: Hi Doctor,

My mom got ill 2 months back and was having fever cough she use to cough full say and night and was unable to sleep for weeks as it use to get worst in night.

When CTSCAN was done she was been diagnosed with a lymph nodes and infection in lungs.

As per doctor it is said it looks like she have pneumonia and she prescribed medication like
Montair LC , Some nebulizer medications and
slowly se started recovering and even gaining weight.

she really got cured.

We also had her CRP blood test done
First one showed 63 which should be below 3
Second one showed 16

When it was 16 doctor gave 2 weeks more medicines and asked to stop medications
after 2 weeks and we will put her with NO MEDICINES for next two weeks
as soon as she was put on this she started having pain in back which was unbearable
So we did Blood test and CTSCAN ( as asked by doctor )

The result showed
CRP - 12 ( less than the second CRP)
CTSCAN was better as per doctor

Doctor asked to review after 6 weeks we all were happy

2DAYS BACK MY MOM COMLAINT THAT SHE IS FEELING A PAINFUL LUMP IN BREAST UNDER NIPPLE( LEY

WE STILL NEED TO SEE THE DOCTOR
I HAVE NOT TOUCHED BUT SHE SAYS THAT IT IS VERY PAINFUL WHEN TOUCHED
THERE IS NO REDNESS
NO DISCHARGE OR SKIN ISSUES

I HAVE ATTACHED HER CTSCANS AND ALL BLOOD TESTS

PLEASE CAN YOU SUGGEST SOMETHING.

Brief Answer:
Get done mammography.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Ask a doctor forum.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the reports you have attached.
I don't think her current breast lump under nipple is associated with previous lung infection.
In my opinion, she should should get done fresh mammography to identify the lump.
She may need FNAC (fine needle aspiration cytology) if there is lump.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further
Wishing good health to your mother. Thanks.

Sir but god forbid if it is something critical then when does it starts paining is this the first stage ?

The fine needle test also spreads a critical illness fast I have heard

I also need to know what you suspect - is this a breast cancer ?

Does CTSCAN shows that node ?

Sorry for late reply as I was busy.
Breast cancer very less likely to cause painful breast swelling.
So I don't think it is breast cancer.
Painful breast swelling is mostly seen with infection, abscess etc.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

My Mom is scared of any needle test as it is known to spread any thing and might not heal

The reason is My Grand maa ( Nani) got breast cancer but that was due to a hurt that she got to keep a purse in her bra and the metal caused the wound that got converted to Breast cancer however she was all fine however she went through the needle test and there it started spreading. Also the worst thing was that the wound she got due to needle test never healed and was becoming rotten that we use to dressing every day two time.

Once can smell blood while sitting next to her.

I dont want to mess thing and make my mom's life miserable ..

Looks Sir I respect doctors and science however sometime also see that people are just a body for hospital but they are someone mom dad and brother sisters whose each day with us is valuable.

IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY TO DETECT IF THE LUMP IS suspicious and later we can think of Needles etc . ?? I need to know this b4 gng to doctor

Mammography is the answer for your question.
It is simple test without any needle.
Get it done.
If it is suspicious of malignant lesion then FNAC or biopsy is needed.
So get done mammography.
