Question: Hi Doctor,
My mother is 62 years old. I am attaching the pics of her eye. 2 days back she was having some itch in her eye and there was a red spot. Doctor had suggested "Cineraria Maritima Schwabe" eyedrop 3-4 times a day. There is no improvement as such and the red spot has converted to a white thing now. Also, water is coming out of eye and itch is also there along with some pain. Please suggest what shall she do? Thanks.

My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.
She has allergic conjunctivitis.Use anti allergic drops like Ciplox D eye drop or Ofax Dx eye drops 4 times a day for a week.Then if a bit of problem remains,then switch over to olopat eye drop twice a day as we dont want to continue with above drops for more than a week.
