Question: Hi Doctor,
My mother was having itch, slight pain and redness in her left eye for past 10 days. She was using itone eye drop. The situation is same still and now the itch, pain and redness has started in right eye as well along with left eye. I am attaching 3 images to give you an idea of the redness as of now.

Please suggest what shall she do? Thanks.

Thanks for sending your query to us.
Yes, this is episcleritis.This needs short term steroid locally.You can have ciplox D eye drop or Prednisone acetate eye drop or Dexcine eye drop(available on prescription) 4 to 5 times a day for 6 days then taper off. She will be fine in 3 days time.
