Question: Hi Doctor,

My son is 1 year 10 month old. While urinating, the bottom or tip of penis becomes big . Please find the attached video for your reference.

We have not consulted any doctor as of now. Couple of days back while peeing, he was feeling the pain and used to cry once it is done. But after drinking lots of water, there was no problem.

Could you please let us know the reason for penis tip becoming big while urinating and the treatment for the same.

Tight Prepuce - needs circumcision please

hello...I understand your concern.
I have reviewed the image.
This is tight prepuce and with the amount of bulge this seems to be severe tightness.
I would have suggested Efficort cream but I doubt it as the severity is more.
I feel your son might require circumcision.
Please consult your pediatric surgeon regarding this.

Hello... it is a day care procedure.
There will not be any major side effects.
They will cut the extra tight skin at the glans and suture it.
