Last 6 months ago i had full blood test for complete body and my thyoird came back slight underactive i was put on small dose of thyroixdie tablets but came off them as my side affects became worse i then had more tests and it came back more normal range then recently i had further bloods test that have come to the more overactive side now i tested positve for antibodies and have to have more test done in 6 months time which iam not happy about as iam not on any medication and its gone from underactive to more to the higher end overactive ??? also last week ive been getting consant muscle twiches all over my body and in my left eye when i close and open it tightly..
I would like to know if twitching can be caused by my thyroid as iam very concerned about the consant twiching thoughout my body.

Brief Answer:
About twitching;
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank your for asking!
I have gone carefully through your concern.
Twitching is not a specific symptoms of overactive thyroid.
In most of the cases it is caused by electrolyte disturbances (potassium or magnesium deficiency) or neurological pathologies.
There is no need to worry if you do not have symptoms of hyperthyroidism (sweating, weight loss, rapid heart rate, diarrhea ect). If these symptoms become present than you may go before the next appointment.
Hope the information will help.
Best wishes.
