Brief Answer:
Nutritional deficiencies

Detailed Answer:
Hello ad welcome to Ask A Doctor service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
XXXXXXX has anemia. Most probably its due to iron deficiency but folic acid and B12 deficiencies may also be there. I will suggest that she checks lvels of iron, folic acid and B12 in her blood and start supplements like Tab Neurobion plus and syrup Dexorange 1spoon daily for 5-6 months. Recheck after 6 months.

There also seem to be high blood sugar. Is she a known diabetic?

Vitamin D and Calcum also are low. She can take syrup Osteocacium D3 1spoon a day for this deficiency for 3 months.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi Doctor,
Thanks for your reply.

She is not diabetic as such but, her sugar levels were high during pregnancy and it was normal after the delivery.
She is having frequent headaches and also pain behind left ear which creates a temporary lump during the pain and it dissolves once the pain gets over. This pain goes till the shoulder.

- Could this pain be because of any deficiency highlighted in the report?
- Could you please suggest regarding the food that she should take and what she should avoid based on the reports.
- Anything to worry based on the reports which needs immediate attention?

Please suggest.

Regards,

Brief Answer:
The ear pain requires immediate attention

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

The headache and pain/lump behind ear is most probably from ear infection. Please see an Ear nose throat specialist for appropriate examination of ear.
This pain is not from deficiency.

Regarding foods, she can take anything she likes. If she is breast feeding, then take extra calories from fatty foods like cookies, cakes etc. Fruit and green vegetables are good, Extra serving of milk is good.

Hope this answers your query.
