Hi, Doctor What Is The Reason For Losing Sudden Weight,
what is the reason for losing sudden weight, even though no problem with the analysis
food intake, hormone issues or other pathology.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services.
I have read your query with attached reports and here is my advise.
* There can be various reasons for weight loss as alteration in certain hormone levels,
caloric intake, underlying inflammation or pathology at various body regions as colon,
lungs or else.
Kindly provide me further details so that I can answer your query completely.
1. In the discharge card, there is mention of newly diagnosed diabetes, fasting blood
sugar is normal 100 mg , so additional reports have been done as HbA1c or else,
which is not available in attachment ?
2. Details of weight loss if you can recall previous weight of recent past ?
3. Any related symptoms as low appetite, fever, easy fatigue, noticeable blood in motion
breathlessness or else ?
Awaiting for your response.
Regards.

In fact, in government hospitals, they do not give us the result of the tests they have in the hospital
But if you need this analysis I will do it in a private hospital and send it to you
My weight before this problem was 75 kg now 57 kg (in three years I lost 18 kg) and there seems to be no improvement
Sometimes I feel tired and loss of appetite depends on my condition but I complain of a lack of sleep during the night
I would like to add some notes
The problem started on 18-3-2016 since that time and I lose my weight (report attachment)
I use the supplements instead of metformin such as
BLOOD SUGAR,COMPLETIA AND CHROMIUM PICOLINTE

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the details.
* The sequential evaluation requires various diagnostic approach as lab series, radiology
in terms of x-ray chest, ultrasound and colonoscopy at the age of 58 years.
* At the first instance, you should get
(1) 3 month average blood sugar for precise evaluation of diabetic control which is
known as HbA1c report.
(2) Fresh Vitamin D level as it was insufficient in March report.
(3) Stool report microscopy ( to check for any occult blood loss )
Once the metabolic profile is being confirmed, we can figure out rest of the procedures needed to find out the cause and manage accordingly.
Thank you.
I will come back to you as soon as I prepare the things you asked
Thank You
