Brief Answer:
Testosterone is key hormone for male physiological functions
Detailed Answer:
Hi
In my knowledge and as per medical research, a penile erection can happen even without testosterone. Testosterone controls start and end of erection and control the time of erection as per sexual desire. Amount of strength will not increase with testosterone. But it will increase in response to higher NO in penile vessels. I could not finding figures quoting amount of testosterone utilised during sexual intercourse. But the levels are around 500 to 700 ng/100ml.
One study conducted about amount of testosterone during exercise found that testosterone response to an acute bout of exercise was not significant but did increase in both young and old age groups. It also showed that strength training can induce growth hormone and testosterone release. I could not find exact numbers but the increase would be between 50 to 150 ng/100 ml.
