Brief Answer:
Prognosis is good.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
By use of newer microsurgical techniques, the prognosis of retinal detachment(RD) is very good. Most people do well after surgery.
In some individuals, there may be deterioration of vision and may require repeat surgery, it may be due to new detachment or missed detached site.
Generally prognosis will be good.
Kindly mention what procedure you have underwent for further assessment of procedure related complications.
Thanks
