Hi Dr, I Suffered From Pain In The Area Of

Question: Hi Dr,

I suffered from pain in the area of bottom of my leg near talus area ( Photo attached show the pain area pointed ) . The pain started about a year ago when I was in a trip and walked for a long distance one day and with a new shoes at that time. I tried several medications after visiting doctors as I mentioned in medication field but I no longer have benefit from those medications.

The pain are mainly comes when I walk or stand. It is much less when I am sitting.

Also x- ray photo are attached.

i have seen your images, it seems you are having planter fascitis,i will advise you to have intralesional steroid injection in your affected area, 3 injections 15 days apart.As you have tried rest all measures get the steroid injection and hope you will be fine.

You know now a days it little difficult to visit clinic offices due to COVID-19 and the overall situation.

Any alternative treatment like oral steroids for example or any other treatment

You can try with conservative management like taking anti inflammatory ,ice pack, diclofenac gel, i will not advise you to take oral steroid as they haveots of sude effects.
