Brief Answer:
Advice on how to proceed with the treatment is explained below in detail

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I understand your concern.

I already reviewed the attached report.

I see that your father has already taken the treatment for the urinary tract infection.

If he has already finished the treatment, I recommend to repeat the urinalysis and a blood test to see if the infection has gone.

Meanwhile, I suggest to continue using Urimax 0.4 mg for the prostate enlargement.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
Advice on how to treat low appetite are explained below in detail.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again dear,

After an infection, it is normal to have low appetite.

I recommend to take a multivitamin supplement to boost the immune system.

I also recommend to sleep at least seven hours a day and light exercise.

I suggest to eat a balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, and lean meats.

If the infection is treated properly, you will see improvements day by day.

Hope it helps dear.

Take care,

A urine culture is needed to confirm the specific effective antibiotic.

Hi again dear,

I suggest to do a urine test to confirm the presence of an infection.

I also suggest a urine culture to confirm the type of bacteria and the specific antibiotic to treat it.

Meanwhile, I recommend to drink liquids and especially cranberry juice.
