Question: Hi, I am 24 yrs old IT guy. I have a shooting pain in my left butt when ever i sneeze or cough. This pain is not constant. Sometimes it is mild and sometimes it is severe. Over a month i am suffering with this pain. It all started when i suddenly climbed down from a tall bench from sitting posture. Thought it is a general muscle strain and havn't visited a doc till now. The pain is severe in night times and could not turn around freely in my lying posture. The pain is spiking when ever i turn myself around in the lying posture. The pain was decreasing in the last week but in the last two days it has increased now. Kindly help me diagnose this and suggest a homely treatment.
