Brief Answer:
Please give details and post the actual reports if available.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.

Please give additional information for me to assist you better:

For how much time/days does the sharp pinching pain remain?
Does it occur any other time too?

I hope you are aware that the ovulation usually occurs 14 days prior to the first day of next period (just in case you would like to calculate)...

Do you get other symptoms like nausea, vomiting, bloating, change in bowel habits or urinary symptoms during the pain?

Was ultrasonography done during the pain?
Please post the report of Ultrasonography or any other investigations if possible.
Any other information, please...

Awaiting your detailed feedback.

yes Ultrasound was done during the pain it was read by both the dr and radiologist came out with no issues The pain initially starts out as a strong pinching pain towards lower right side of abdomen then over the course of a few days it slowly fades away I do at times get a bloated uncomfortable feeling but does not seem to be related to pinching sensation no increase in urination or pain upon urinating The pain comes and goes usually a few times per hour

Brief Answer:
As detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.

Ultrasonography of the abdomen has its limitations and CT scan when in pain would be a better choice as it can show lots of things that ultrasonography can easily miss.

The possible causes I can think about with the history you have provided are:
Appendicular pain due to a fecolith or so.
Colitis/typhlitis (Cecal pain).
Endometriosis.

I would advise you the following in such a situation:

Get the stool routine and microanalysis done for 3 consecutive days.
Urine analysis.
Tests of blood.
CT scan of the abdomen.

Do consult a General Surgeon as clinical evaluation, examination and correlation with the investigations would help the diagnosis.

If a specific cause is found during these then a specific treatment would help you to get a cure.
If all the reports are normal then a possibility of IBS can be considered.

Relation with ovulation has to be kept in mind and your Gynecologist would suspect and investigate you for endometriosis.

I hope this answer helps you.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

How common are the examples you have provided with the ecxception of ovulation and endometriosis I had a complete physical about one month ago blood test were fine no change in bowel movements should I have blood test again? If the pain starts to fade and is on and off in nature should I be overly concerned thanks for your time and patience

Brief Answer:
It is better to find or rule out the cause as pain is present

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback and additional queries.
Since there is pain with the nature of pain as you have explained, I would advise to try to get the exact cause. Stool tests and CT scan of abdomen is highly suggested/advised as discussed above.
Undiagnosed pain in abdomen is a concern till it is diagnosed and well treated.

It is good that blood tests were normal, may need review if decided so on clinical examination by a General Surgeon.

I hope this answers your query.
