Question: Hi I am a 44 year old female. I am on my last day of my period and have been experiencing brief cramping type pain on my right ovary- what couls cause such a apin on the last day of my cycle and should I be concerned

considering the pain on last day of periods,we should be thinking about other causes like appendicitis ,if there is nausea or vomiting .Other possibilities are infections like urinary tract infections, ureteric stones and or pelvic inflammatory desease.
Was there any ultrasound scan done recently ?
If not , I would suggest you to get a direct check up with your doctor .Torsion of ovarian cyst is a another possibility if you have any cysts.

No nausea or vomiting my last ultrasound was 8 months ago and was normal my gyno is only doing online appointments at this time due to Coronavirus the pain is not constant and it does not hurt when pressed I have at home uti strips came back negative

For mild pain you can take tab.paracetamol.500mg if not allergic.
