Hi, I Am A 50 Year Old Man Being Seen

Question: Hi, I am a 50 year old man being seen by a urologist for low flow, frequent urge to urinate as well as E.D. and occasional mild pain with ejaculation. I was diagnosed with BPH but every D.R.E that I have had, I was told was normal. I took PSA blood tests for prostate cancer and those were normal. In addition, I had my lower abdomen scanned for a potential hernia and my doctor told me they were able to view my prostate as well and it looked fine.
I am curious if there is anything else that could cause my symptoms that is NOT related to my prostate or id there is a non-invasive scan or way to definitively rule out whether it really is BPH or not. If prostate tissue were inflamed or growing and constricting my urine flow, would there be a way to scan for this internally? Would my doctor have been able to see this when she saw my low abdomen scan and saw my prostate or would that not show enough detail? I'd like know definitively if this is a prostate issue or not and if I even need to continue seeing a urologist.

Brief Answer:
You can opt for TRUS and urodynamic studies.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
Prostate enlargement is a common problem among XXXXXXX citizen males. However, your age group is not that consistent with severe prostate related issues.
You can opt for a TRUS(transrectal ultrasound) to get a better clinical picture of the prostate. I also suggest you undergo urodynamic studies to categorize the exact problem.
A detailed evaluation is required to find out the exact cause.
Thanks
