Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service...
I've gone through your query...
I can understand your concerns...
Well, Ranitidine is safe to take during pregnancy, so it can be taken as 150mg twice daily dose for about a week or so (around 30min before having breakfast and dinner)...
However, gastric problems are quite commonly seen during this phase of pregnancy...instead of two or three large meals, please try to have a small but frequent portion of meals, chew the food slowly, take your time and don't rush during eating...don't lie down immediately after having food, try to maintain a gap of 2-2.5hrs between dinner and bedtime...
Avoid all form of fast/junk foods...no soda/carbonated drinks either...
Try to engage in daily physical exercises (there are specific sets of exercises instructed during this phase of pregnancy, which can be done under the supervision of any nearby gym instructor)...
However, if despite this, the problem persists, then it's advisable to get yourself checked up by your doctor for a detailed further evaluation...
Let me know if I can assist you further...
Wish you good health...
Take Care
Kind Regards
