Brief Answer:
Blepheritis is a possibility.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Dry eyes may be caused by many conditions and most probably due to strain and blepheritis( blockage of tiny oil gland of the eyes ). An evolving conjunctivitis can also cause dry eyes.
As of now you can try over the counter available lubricant eye drops like HPMC eye drops for symptomatic relief. Continue antibiotic drops and hot compression. Avoid itching and wash the eyes with clear water.
Generally the symptoms will settle in one week, if symptoms persist consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated to rule out conditions affecting cornea and visual problems.
Thanks
