Question: Hi, I am five wks pregnant but having some symptoms that I find a little bit weird I have had a fever up to 100 for past 5 days, can't move stomach from just about ovaries all the way up to bottom of rib cage. some pain on right side, espec when you push in. sometimes pain on left side. a lot worse after I eat, i think? )I already had appendix out, my mom had gallbladder taken out and heart attack at 42. I am 39. I have also had chest pains off and on. I have also had a lot of ovarian cycst pains to the point where i can't sleep for 3 hours at a time with ice packs on. I also was exposed to someone with pneumonia a few wks ago and can't get a good breath in. a few days ago i was coughing up flem but now just have nasal drip. sorry lots of diff possibilities but wanted to get your thoughts anyway. my energy is SO low espec a little while after i eat fried foods.

Your symptoms can be related to early pregnancy hormone changes and may be due to upper respiratory tract infection like influenza.

I will suggest you to get USG report done to know about the gestation period and viability of the pregnancy.
Please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for anti-nausea and anti emetic medication like Doxylamine.
Some anti cold tablet like Cetirizine.

Have small frequent meals, avoid spicy food and bakery products.
Avoid cold water and cold liquids.
Warm salt water gargles and steam inhalation is advisable.
