Detailed Answer:
Hi Ms. XXXXXXX

Thanks for sharing your health concern with us.

I have gone through your query and would like to offer some information.

From the description you have given, it appears that you experience irregular menstrual cycles frequently. This is because of hormone imbalances, perhaps triggered by seasonal changes. Proper evaluation is necessary to clarify.

In the current scenario, to exclude pregnancy for sure, you can get the assessment of serum beta-hCG titers. A sonogram of the pelvis preferably in the trans-vaginal route is helpful in assessing the pelvic organs. Hormone assay helps to determine the status.

If you can contact your health care provider, please go for it.

If pregnancy is excluded, you may use hormones to induce a period under medical supervision. Regularization of the cycles should be done to avoid future problems.

Hope you find this information helpful. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

regards,
Shanti.V.

Thank you so much Dr. Shanthi madam. Yes ,I agree to you. I usually get periods on time but in very rare instances as I mentioned during seasonal changes It gets delayed. Please suggest any medicine to get periods or do you want me to consult a doctor. I don't have any health issues nor periods problems but this is something once in a while I'm facing. I am unable to concentrate on work and getting irritate very often with lot of mood swings. Upon that in this hot summer I feel like my body is burning on fire. I'm vexed as I dint get periods still. Please advise any home remedy or tablet to get periods soon. Thanks, XXXXXXX J

Hi,

Thanks for writing back.

As I mentioned earlier, you have to exclude pregnancy before using medication to induce a period. If that is done, you can use progesterone for 2-3 days to induce a period. If your doctor is taking calls, that would be a better option. Your doctor will be able to guide you better. Your mood swings are likely due to the hormone imbalance.

Hope this helps. Please feel free to contact for further information. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.
