Question: Hi I am suffering from NAFLD my age is 29 my weight is 100 kgs with height 177 cms My Sgpt Level is 169 and Sgot is 73 my GGt is 60 please recommend can there be lever scaring or fibrosis?? I got fibroscan done a year back it was grade IV 383 Cap and 5.7 Kpa i was asked to reduce weight which i did and cut down the weight by 7% and the enzyme levels started dropping and then i was given evion 400 and uroscol for six weeks which made the enzymes come to normal but then i got little careless and my weight again incresed i got my lft test one month back in march it was Sgot 30 and Sgpt 90 and now within month it went to SGpt 169 and sgot 73 please help me

Lifestyle modification and weight reduction are two utmost important things you need to do
1) reduce calorie intake
2) take more fibers salads fruits, proteins
3) avoid carbohydrates fats
4) stop sugar
5) regular walk , exercise
6) be consistent in your efforts loosing weight is easy maintaining that loss is difficult.
7) get your autoimmune markers ceruloplasmin lipid profile if not done
8) try this for 3 months sincerely then decide on medications
9) keep a tab on your sugars too
10) with ok fibroscan report unlikely there is scarring as of now
11) then have options of evion and other drugs too
