Question: Hi.. I found out that my 17 year old son was given Somapure growth harmone for four weeks once a week. He stopped taking the injections 7 months ago but I'm worried about (his Gym instructir behind our back). He is healthy and does not have any medical conditionsz Is there anything I should do? Does he have to take any tests to make sure his body is clean? Does he have to take any medication. Please help!

Brief Answer:
To do the test you can do the test from the urine for this growth hormone. There is no antidote for Somapure growth hormone. So he no need to take any others medicine to help this.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question Duha. Hope I can be of help for you today.

Through reading your query I would like to help you with this question. Somapure growth hormone is a purified polypeptide hormone of recombinant DNA origin. It contains the human growth hormone that assists growth of linear bone, skeletal muscle, and organs. It is the metabolism in the liver and kidney. It excretes in the urine. He already stopped for 7 months ago, if he is healthy and has no problem with renal function impairment or liver function impairment the medicine should be clear from his body. To do the test you can do the test from the urine for this growth hormone. There is no antidote for Somapure growth hormone. So he no need to take any others medicine to help this.

I hope that can help you, and please let me know if you have any clarification or question about that, and I would be welcome to discuss it with you further. I Hope you have good health.
