Hi, I Had A Fusion Surgery For My Back At

Question: Hi,
I had a fusion surgery for my back at L1 level on the 1st of last month, today I had a visit to my surgeon who said I'm in no need to see him again and that the surgery went well!
I did an x ray to my back which he saw, he also said I'm in no need for any physical therapy sessions!
Is this true?
I mean all the patients whom I saw there said a physical therapy is a must after the surgery!
What should I do?
I attached the pics which I took today.

Brief Answer:
The vertebrae are well fixed.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have seen all the attached X-ray images. The fixation of vertebrae is good and is well placed. If you do not have any pain or restricted movement then you do not need any physical therapy. Just avoid doing the strenuous exercises for now. The bones are well healed. No need to worry.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
Dr. Praveen Tayal.
