Brief Answer:
intestine infection, colic or else. ranitidine for immediate relief.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services.
I have read your query and here is my advise.

* As per my clinical experience, there can be various issues as intestine infection,
intestine colic or else responsible for sudden pain in abdomen with vomiting.

Kindly provide me further details so that I can answer your query completely.

1. Pain - location in abdomen, radiation if anywhere ?
2. Any previous episodes of such type of pain ?
3. Associated alteration in urinary and bowel habits if any ?

Meanwhile, you can take antacid as ranitidine with sips of water for primary relief.
Awaiting for your response.

Regards.

Thank you for your diagnosis.
I have had two of these attacks in the past...separated by perhaps 6-12 months.
The pain is high in my abdomen.
There has been no changes to unitary or bowel habits.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the details.

* As there is recurrent episode in past as well, I would recommend to get an ultrasound of
the abdomen & pelvis done for the diagnostic approach as gall bladder dysfunction or
else.

If the same has been carried out in the past, kindly revert back with the report if available.
Thank you.
