Brief Answer:
As of now do not worry if it is Corona

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for using the Ask a Doctor service.

I have gone carefully through the details and understand your concern. Most often such symptoms are due to viral infections and antibiotics are ineffective in such cases. Irrespective of treatment it usually spontaneously resolves in 5-7 days. There are many viruses that cause such symptoms and coronaviruses are just one among them. Covid19 is a new strain of coronavirus which humans are not familiar with. Most often the symptoms are mild and serious complications occur in a nominal number of cases. The only concern is the high infectivity. So isolation of your family is what is needed. In case of Covid19, the symptoms start resolving after 9 days from the initiation of symptoms, and no treatment is needed. It is only if worsening is seen after 9 days that medical attention is needed. As of now just consider it to be any other viral infection.

Often such viral infections manifest with fever and paracetamol would help, but the fever would come back from time to time as of now. If your child is otherwise active and playful, I would not be concerned. If not, it would be a good idea to visit a doctor and to get the child evaluated.

Regards
