Brief Answer:
Pregabablin might help...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Pinched nerve at the back results in chronic back pain. Epidural shots is effective. That being said there are a few medications which lower threshold of pain. This allows you to reduce intensity and severity of pain. One of such medication is pregabalin. Your orthopedician will know about this drug. Discuss with your doctor and if he/she shares my views you may be started on it along with regular physiotherapy.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.
