Hi I Have A Question Last Week I Was Having

Question: Hi I have a question last week I was having ear pain as well as headache and runny nose sore throat started Friday went to get covid test on Sunday came back negative but I still have the runny nose ... I do suffer from allergies and post nasal drip and sinus issues any suggestions
Brief Answer:
Otitis media
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma’am, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns. Since the PCR is negative then this is probably due to otitis media that will require an antibiotic medication such as amoxicillin 1 gm for 10 days.. For the headache , you can take ibuprofen tablets every eight hours and for the runny nose you can take an antihistaminic such as zytrec once daily before going to bed.
If you experience any difficulty breathing or elevation in body temperature then please seek medical care as soon as possible.. I hope you find this helpful..

Also since I don’t have any symptoms can I resume regular activities other than the runny nose that comes and goes
Brief Answer:
No , yes
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma’am hello again.. No I would not recommend retesting unless new symptoms emerge. Since you are resolving then no need for retesting. Just continue on the anti-histaminic for the running nose and you can resume your daily activities. I hope you find this helpful and If you don’t have any other clarifications then please close the discussion..this
