Hi! I Have A Question Regarding The Medication Viibryd .
Question: Hi!
I have a question regarding the medication Viibryd. I started this medication about one month ago and so far has worked pretty well for me. I am someone who has tried every medicine under the sun for my anxiety, negative thoughts, and large fights with my husband.
I have been on just 10 mg this whole time. About 4 days ago, I started to have some weird symptoms like increased anxiety, headaches, and some negative thinking and fatigue. This worries me because I was feeling good for the first 3.5 weeks of this.
Do you think that I need to increase my dose or bring it down? I am extremely sensitive to meds and so I want to be careful but I was thinking about going up to 15 mg. What are thoughts on this? I also read that it has to be taken at same time every day without fail or some brain zaps and other feelings come in..
Please clarify with your response and some suggestions. I do not want to try another med at this pt.
Thanks much.

These symptoms seem to be withdrawal symptoms of Viibryd.
Yes, actually it has to be started with 10 mg for 1 week, then to increase to 20 mg in the next week.
So, it would be better to increase the dose to 20mg to get rid of these withdrawal symptoms.
You can consult your doctor regarding this and follow accordingly.
