Hii.

Mucinex DM tablet contain granules needed for mucolytic action. Don't crush the capsule or tablet next time during giving to patient. But even if you crush it ,it will have some effects in dissolving the mucus. So no need to worry. Relax. You should take next tablet after 8 hours. No need to give it again.

Hi, I have a sinus infection and just took some mucinex DM. Since the pill was big I chopped it in half before taking. I only took one of the two pills and then read you should not chop and crush these pills. Is there any issue with this or anything I need to do?

Hi, I have a sinus infection and just took some mucinex DM. Since the pill was big I chopped it in half before taking. I only took one of the two pills and then read you should not chop and crush these pills. Is there any issue with this or anything I need to do?
