Posted on Tue, 9 Jul 2019
Question: Hi I have a small lump/growth on my lower side right testicle approx. 1/2" in diameter. No pain. Feels solid. Age 63. Currently on baby aspirin, multi-vitamin, krill oil, just began 5mg rosuvastatin, although the lump appears to have been there for a while. Just noticed the lump now. Your thoughts? Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Most probably related to Epididymis

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
1/2 cm size small lump on lower side of right testicle without pain, feeling solid, just noticed can be due to one of the following reasons:
The commonest cause is epididymis related lumps like cyst or so.Testicle usually does not give such solitary lumps as the growths are usually within the testicle.

The best confirmation can be done by High Resolution Ultrasonography and Color Doppler of the scrotum.
Additional tests of blood like PSA help further.

Please get these done to know the primary diagnosis to be assured that there is nothing serious.

I hope this answers your query and helps you to get an early and proper diagnosis.
Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if give feedback after investigations.

Take care.
With Regards.
