Question: Hi, I have been experiencing some sore throat, bad breath, and some small white-ish bumps on my soft palate and uvula for the past 5 months. I have been to a number of doctors, ENTs, and dentists. According to dentist "everything looks good"; ENT diagnosed me with allergies and some tonsil stones ( which I have been managing); I was placed on Amoxicillin (for 14 days) 3 months ago because I had a yellowish discharge/postnasal drip (treated). I just keep getting sore throat, and have this bad taste/smell in mouth that sometimes comes from my nose. Is there anyway you can help me solve this problem?

Hii. You are having allergic rhinosinusitis along with pharyngitis. To prevent recurrent sore throat you have to continue betadine gargle. Drink more water. You can do warm saline gargle at few time also. Tonsil stone can also prevented with the help of gargle. Post nasal drip cause foul smell from the mouth. You start saline nasal spray and fluticasone nasal spray. Saline nasal spray will wash away the allergic secretion. Fluticasone nasal spray reduce inflammation of the nose and will resolve it. You need to continue steam inhalation. You can continue pantoprazole tablet to reduce the acid reflux which will prevent allergic pharyngitis. Drink more than water. Sleep after two hours of dinner.
