Hi, I Have Been Having Pain In My Right Thigh

Question: Hi, I have been having pain in my right thigh and hip for a while now where as sometimes I can not walk or have a limp. And then more recently my arms started to hurt.. I had a few tests done the last being MRI of the Right Femur (thigh) and the right acetabulum . and a catscan of my chest /abdomen and pelvis. The report for the MRI States degenerative changes noted in the right hip, Lytic lesion seen in the acetabulum and there also appears to be a cystic lesion 1.2 cm adjacent to this which may represent a paralabral cyst. Sclerotic lesion identified within the proximal femoral shaft likely representing a bone island. The Report of the ct scan of the chest single sclerotic focus in the right T7 vertebral body of questionable significance. The report for abdomen and pelvis. Chronic degenerative changes with complete loss of the disc space at L2-L3. There is a sclerotic focus consistent with a bone island in the posterior right iliac wing near the SI joint. There is a second sclerotic focus in the superior right iliac wing above the acutabulum consistent with a bone island. My main question now is what is your opinion of this and what type of Dr. should I see. I started with my family Dr. she sent me to an oncologist to rule out any metastatic disease. She also gave me a few blood tests with certain markers that all came back fine. She wanted me to go back to my family Dr. or an orthopedic. Please give me your opinion, on what specialist I should set an appointment with. Thank you

Brief Answer:
You need to consult an orthopedician.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have seen all the reports. Since any metastatic disease has been ruled out, the pain that you have is likely to be due to the degenerative changes in the hip joint. Bone islands are benign harmless findings and are usually not associated with any pain. The pain that you have can be related to spondylottic changes in the spine also. You need to consult an orthopedician for a detailed analysis and prescription medicines. Regular physiotherapy will also help in reducing the pain.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
