Hi I Have Been On Olanzapine For Over 4 Years,

Question: Hi I have been on olanzapine for over 4 years, recently I ran out of script and I also want to come off the medication, so I am now 2 weeks free from olanzapine, however, I noticed something rather strange, I have depressive thoughts, confusion, concentration problem, feeling so fatigue and muscle weakness, I have no energy for the day, I am tired, and I feel like I'm dying. Can you advice if I have possibly developed any illness? I'm quite worried. Please can you give some insight. Thank you

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
Olanazapine is an atypical antipsychotic medication which is used in bipolar illnesses. Your current symptoms are suggestive of depression. If it is possible, it would be good for you to discuss with your doctor for a reassessment and to start on an appropriate treatment.
Do get back to me if you have further query.
