Question: Hi ,

I have been suffering from fever since last 2 days ( Upto 101 Degree) . To control the same , I was taking crocin every six hours . At present fever is under control . . Fever tends to increase around night time .However I am experiencing body pain and also am experiencing bitter taste while eating food . I have mild dry cough and slight pain on one side of throat . Please recommend some medicine

Thanks for your query.

I have gone through the details. It looks a mild upper respiratory tract infection. I suggest you take Tab. Azithromycin 500 mg once daily after dinner for 3 days. Take Tab. Dolo 650 mg as and when required for fever and pain.

Salt water gargling and drinking warm lemon juice with a tsp of honey daily for a week will help relieve the sore throat.
