Detailed Answer:
Hii. Don't panic. You may be having acute tonsillitis or keratosis. The yellow and the red spots may be due to infective follicles. But you had no pain, fever then the spots are due to keratosis. These keratosis are due to chronic inflammation of the tonsillar amucosa or due to accumulation of food debris in the tonsillar crypts. In these cases they disappear intermittently with gargle and also on pressing. Your red tonsils may be acute inflammation of the tonsils due to viral or bacterial infection or due to acid reflux. These symptoms are not indicative of cancer. If there is any growth over the tonsils then only we can suspect cancer. But if you want to get confirmation then you visit an Ent surgeon and get yourself checked. You can start some betadine gargle or warm saline gargle daily to prevent keratosis and acute tonsillitis. Drink more water. Avoid excess tea, coffee. Please review if you have any quiery.
