Question: Hi. I have general excessive sweating ( I sweat a lot especially when I am a cold) with chills and whole body cold. I am cold the entire day. I am very sensistive to cold and I have no fever. I am very sensitive to temperature. Thank you

The feeling of excessive cold can be due to many reasons.
The most common causes include hypothyroidism (where the thyroid gland produce insufficiently low levels of thyroid hormone thus causing extreme fall in basal metabolic rate), severe anaemia (Insufficiency of oxygen carrier ,haemoglobin pigment in red cells)and brain disorders (defects in hypothalamus part of brain which is primarily responsible for the temperature regulation of the body).

My full test Thyroid is ok. the blood test of haemoglobin is ok. We checked my brain hypotalamus with an IRM and is also ok. So it has to be something else. Do you have some ideas?

If anemia,thyroid and hypothalamic disorders have been ruled out,in that case,let me know if you have been investigated for heart and adrenal gland disorders too.
