Hi Doctor, Thanks for the quick response. I have checked blood sugar a month back and it was normal. From past 40 days no office so no shoes. I started observing this from past two weeks. I have not used any medicine so far. I thought it may get cured in few days but it didn't. My uric acid levels were high so I have been using Furic 80 mg a day from past two months. No other issues apart from high uric acid. Regards, Khadar
Brief Answer:
As discussed
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for a great feedback.
Noted well and in detail.
Since you are at home and no shoes, this is not due to excessive sweating.
The possible causes can be as follows along with remedies:
Skin changes due to lowered skin integrity wherein it is difficult to pin-point the cause. Take Multivitamins with mineral and trace elements.
Furic acid can be contributory factor as you are taking it for 2 months and the skin changes are present for 2 weeks. Please get the uric acid levels checked and talk to your Doctor whether to continue or stop Furic medicine.
There are no classical changes of fungal infection at the moment.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Stop using any soaps for some days or at least use extra water so that the soap does not stay there at all (underside of toes are the commonest to have retained soap and add on to the problems.)
You may please apply Liquid Betadine locally 1 - 2 times a day.
See the results and give me feedback along with fresh photos.
Please get fresh uric acid levels and also Vitamin D and A levels in blood. If below normal then you need proper doses and will help for the skin as well as for Uric acid normalization. Better to get the levels checked first as this can decide the doses.
I hope this answer helps you.
