Question: Hi, I have had a salty taste in my mouth for about 3 hours know and cant get ride of it. have tried drink different floods ate sweet stuff and nothing is working.

Hii. Sometimes if you have acid reflux from the stomach then you may have salty taste of mouth. Take omeprazole tablet. Drink plenty of water. Don't take too much spicy food. Sleep after 2 hours of food. Are you having allergic symptoms like watering of nose, sneezing? If you are having allergic symptoms then discharge from the sinuses may be the reason for salt taste in mouth. You also check whether you are having any infection in the mouth specially of the tonsils, teeth or gums. In that case you may have salty taste.You can take betadine gargle.
