Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
What do you mean by feeling suffocated?
Are you having panic attacks where you feel impending doom and are short of breath?
Can you breath ok at other times right now?
PMDD doesn't usually magically go away, but some women do feel changes over time where their symptoms get better.
Are you taking the hormonal contraceptive pill because of the PMDD or for birth control?
Because if it's for PMDD, you might do better with an SSRI antidepressant such as Lexapro.
If it's for contraception, then a different formulation might be needed (change in the dose of estrogen or progesterone).
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards

I’m using Gianvi for the PMDD. I get crying spurts and over reactions out of nowhere again. These have been gone for awhile.

Hi - I'm trying to sort this out:
You used Gianvi for PMDD, and the emotional lability is now gone? (You wrote, "These have been gone for awhile.") But the problem is that you are having trouble breathing instead?
If the PMDD emotional difficulties continue, you may need an SSRI instead.
If you are having problems breathing, and it is not associated with panic attacks, then you should go in to see a doctor to have a listen to your breathing and a D-dimer test.
Does that answer your question?

Brief Answer:
You should go in to be seen for that chest pain and shortness of breath.
Detailed Answer:
I wouldn't worry about the period blood being black. That happens when there is less bleeding and the blood has a chance to sit around for a bit before coming out (rather than the bright red blood from more active bleeding).
Chest pain and difficulty breathing are not normal. It sounds as though it is not correlating with emotional symptoms. I'd advise you go in to have your chest/breathing evaluated if you are having shortness of breath.

The PMDD emotions were gone. I have been expierencing the chest pain on and off. A few days ago crying and over reacting and then my period came on. After that my period blood has basically been black.
