Question: Hi, I have terrible pain in my stomach, around the naval area especially. I know it is not heartburn or acid, or even food poisoning. I am healthy and have not gone to a doctor in a very long time. I am 5'8 and weigh about 148 lbs. I eat healthy and almost no meat. I do burb a lot when I have eaten a little...?

Brief Answer:
gall bladder dyspepsia, intestine colic or else. ranitidine helps.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services.
I have read your query and here is my advise.

* As per my surgical experience, there can be various issues as gall bladder dyspepsia,
digestive enzyme disturbances causing intestine colic or else.

Kindly provide me further details so that I can answer your query completely.

1. Duration of current pain.
2. Does pain remain localised or radiate to other parts of abdomen ?
3. Is there associated vomiting, alteration in bowel movement ?

Till the time, an intake of antacid as ranitidine ( 150 mg ) can help to some extent.
Awaiting for your response.

Regards.
